The problem with how transfers work now
Unverified sellers, cash transfers, no paper trail. Entries sold above face value. You have no visibility and no control.
Athletes transfer bibs without telling you, creating safety and insurance risks on race day. You don't know who's actually on course.
Athletes who can't transfer fairly often don't return next year. The community notices when an event doesn't look after its participants.
How Entri works for you
We add your event and distances to the platform. Participants can immediately start listing entries or joining the watchlist for sold-out distances. You get a private dashboard to monitor all activity.
The seller submits their entry details - registration number, distance, and asking price (capped at face value). The listing goes into pending review and is not visible to buyers until verified by Entri.
Entri checks the entry against your participant records. Once verified, the listing goes live on the marketplace. Watchlist members are notified automatically.
The buyer pays securely through Entri. Funds are held in escrow. Entri notifies you to update your participant records with the buyer's details.
Once you've updated your records, Entri marks the transfer as complete and releases escrowed funds to the seller. The buyer receives confirmation. Clean and done.
What you get as a partner
A private dashboard showing all listing activity for your event by distance - pending, live, sold, and watching counts at a glance.
Every listing is verified before going live. Your participant list stays accurate and your race day insurance remains valid.
Athletes who miss out can join an Entri watchlist. When an entry becomes available, they're notified automatically. No more managing spreadsheets or Facebook comments.
Partnering with Entri signals that your event takes participant welfare seriously - something athletes increasingly look for when choosing races.
All entries on Entri are capped at their original face value. The system rejects any listing above what the seller originally paid.
Entri is free for race directors. Our fee comes from a small success fee on completed transfers, charged only when a sale goes through.
Your event dashboard
Once your event is live on Entri, you get a private dashboard showing all listing activity by distance - visible only to you.
Common questions
No - Entri works within your existing transfer policy. If your event doesn't allow transfers, Entri won't list it. You define any restrictions (cutoff dates, eligible distances, etc.).
Nothing. Entri is completely free for race directors. We charge a small success fee to the seller when a transfer completes - never to you.
We work directly with you to cross-check registration details. Before any entry goes live, we verify the seller's registration number and name against your participant list. Nothing lists unless it matches a confirmed entry.
Buyer's funds are held in escrow and only released once you confirm the transfer in your participant records. If a transfer doesn't complete, the buyer is refunded in full.
Yes - every Entri transfer results in an official name change confirmed by you. Your race day list reflects who is actually registered, making unofficial bib swaps far less common when athletes have a trusted alternative.
